MOVERS AND SHAKERS

‘It is with a heavy heart that we tell you that Rickie Griffin has left our rock steady crew. As you may know Rickie has been a great asset to our business and it is right that we publicly thank him for all his hard work.

The travelling to and from London every day was adding far too much time to his work day, he is only a young un and they don’t make ‘em like they used to!

He is working back in Covent Garden Market with a supplier we have a very close relationship with and we wish him all the best of luck in the future, he will be missed.’

Welcome Darren Bull

We are very pleased to welcome Darren Bull into our little band of merry men and women. (Darren is a merry man for those not sure!) Darren’s areas of responsibility will be account management working with Steve, marketing and commercial analysis working with Mike.

Another produce warrior in the making, his main strengths are his organisational skills, his analytical mind and he does make a great cup of tea!’

PS. He does look ‘quite’ happy about it as well!!!

Good luck to Joseph in your new job…(don’t worry, the van in the picture isn’t his…) !

Strawberries

strawberries

English juicy strawberries go hand-in-hand. Rectory Farm’s strawberries with their succulent sweetness and firm texture are the perfect treat for a sunny day or a fresh fruit salad! Available from the end of May, make sure you speak to us about getting your supplies in. Enjoy this most summery of fruits, ideal for a wide range of recipes from meringue to cheesecakes, ice cream and granita.

Did you know? There is a museum in Belgium just for strawberries!
